This week 67 book review is Vivid Vision by Cameron Herold. Whenever I start working with a client, we spend a ton of time trying to figure out, where my client wants to be.

You know, what the vision is? Because if we don't do that. If we don't figure out where you want the business to be. Where you want your personal life to be? What you want to be doing for a job in three, five, ten years time? And we start working together on growth, we might be working or moving in the wrong direction.

So we need to get an accurate vision. That inspires you. That makes you excited. When you think about it, it's going to pull you, kicking and screaming towards it.

Anybody can run a business when they're going it’s good. It's really, really hard to go to run a successful business when the chips are down, but it makes it easier and we feel more driven to do it.

If we're moving the direction that we're really excited by. So I spend a ton of time with my clients, putting a vision together. Sets the scene of what we're trying to achieve and therefore the plan that we're going to integrate into our client's businesses to go and achieve it.

Vivid Vision gives you a really nice, simple methodology. It's a nice thin book that enables you, I think, to create a really, really descriptive picture of where you want to be in the future.
1:15
Where you want to be living? What kind of house do you want to be in? What are you eating for breakfast? What kind of business do you want to be running?
1:20
What kind of team? What kind of clients? What kind of products? What kind of services? And create this story that you can read back to yourself and go, yeah.
1:27
Do you know what if I achieve that things will be awesome. So Vivid Vision really, really important. If you put in any kind of panel strategies together to your business, you need a vision.
1:37
This is a great method for doing it. I'm going to give an 8 out of 10.
1:42
I think it's awesome. Some of the language I don't really agree with. But the methodology itself, I think is pretty faultless.
